Mondial training centre wins IMI award

Mondial UK 's technical training and service centre has won the Institute of the Motor Industry Approved Centre of the Year Award at the 2007 IMI Learning and Skills Awards.

The Warrington based centre was opened to support Mondial's network of roadside assistance vehicles and technicians.

Robert James, technical services director at Mondial UK said: "Mondial is thrilled with this award, which demonstrates the significance of its training centre to the industry.

"The team at Mondial provides qualified and experienced technical training and is approved to carry out assessments and certificated training on all the recognised industry training programmes.

"Mondial has worked hard to put a strong emphasis on training, which has paid off with winning such a prestigious industry award."

Now in their seventh year, the awards took place at the IMI and were presented by its patron HRH Prince Michael of Kent
