Home > News > July 2006 > 03 July 2006 New IDM course offers a personal mentor for a yearThe Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) has announced that its new course for industry newcomers will be taught solely by Fellows of the IDM with delegates being allocated a personal and professional mentor for an entire year upon completion. The course, entitled 'A newcomer's introduction to modern integrated direct marketing' launches in September. IDM Programme Director, Joanna King, said: "The time is absolutely right for this new course. Today's direct marketing industry not only needs to attract new talent, but also to nurture newcomers in their long-term career growth. "The course programme aims to do just that - tutors, from the crème de la crème of today's profession, will excite and inspire, while the mentoring programme will help sustain, guide and channel that enthusiasm longer term."
