Home > News > April 2005 > 19-Apr-2005 BCS extends ECDL offering with ECDL Expert CertificateThe British Computer Society (BCS) has extended its European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) range with the new ECDL Expert Certificate. The ECDL Expert Certificate is available to candidates who have successfully completed all four ECDL Advanced modules. Candidates can apply for the Expert Certificate by completing the application form at: http://www.ecdlexpert.co.uk/ Candidates who meet the ECDL Expert Certificate criteria will also receive six months free associate membership from the BCS. Pete Bayley, director of qualifications for the BCS, said, "We are delighted to be able to offer our ECDL Expert candidates six months free membership. We recognise that IT is now part of most professions and want to represent this within our membership criteria."
