The competition is being run via the ECDL / ICDL Licensee network with each national winner being entered into the global competition. Entrants to the national competitions will be required to submit approximately 100 words describing the impact that ECDL or ICDL has had on their life. Each Licensee will be looking for the person with the most impressive story of how they have benefited from studying for the ECDL / ICDL qualification. The winning story in each market will receive a prize to the value of €200, an engraved plaque, a certificate and will be entered into the global competition, giving them the chance to win a trip for two to Zurich, Switzerland, where they will be presented with a silver award at an international awards ceremony in October. This award will be given to the story that is judged to be the most encouraging, inspiring, novel or heart-warming.
