GTSLearning launches new self-paced study tools for ECDL
GTSLearning has launched two self-paced study tools designed to help prepare students for the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) qualification.
'ECDL v4 with Windows XP and Office XP' was developed by BIT Media Solution in Austria in a joint venture with Siemens.
The programme is distributed in the UK by GTSLearning. The company says it is delivered on CD and is also available as a product licence for use in the classroom or as an online learning solution either with its own LMS or for use on a third party LMS.
GTSLearning says the product, which includes assessments, progress checks, bookmarks and exam practice tests, is fully SCORM and AICC compliant and is approved by the ECDL Foundation.
Also new from GTSLearning is the Navigator series of self-paced books which are based on the company's classroom content for ECDL. GTSLearning says the Navigator series titles are available for Windows XP and Office System 2003; Windows 2000 and Office 2000; and Windows XP and Office XP.
Robin Adda, managing director of GTSLearning, said: "In 2005, we have seen a growth in demand for ECDL study solutions and there is a clear need for good quality self-paced learning. These new products are a perfect complement to our existing portfolio and will help to meet these demands head-on."
