BCS scoops awards for ECDL

The British Computer Society (BCS) has collected three awards at the ECDL Foundation Awards Ceremony in Dubrovnik.

The ECDL Foundation is the governing body of the end-user computer skills certification programme, the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), which is known as the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) outside Europe.

Wilf Voss, senior product development and marketing manager for ECDL, who collected the awards on behalf of BCS said: "It is a great honour to receive these three awards for the Society's achievements in Accessibility, Public Relations, and Marketing. I am very proud of our success and these awards are a testament to the hard work of our employees."

According to the BCS, over 1.5 million people have to date chosen the BCS ECDL qualification as a way of learning core IT skills.
