Under the requirements of the TAP Partners Programme, Hemsley Fraser’s learning professionals will achieve TAP certification following participation in a skills refresher and assessment programme with The Training Foundation. Iain Lovett, Hemsley Fraser’s chief executive, said: "The TAP skills certification programme, introduced by The Training Foundation in 1998, is important to us because it is increasingly becoming the certification of choice for many of our major clients. "Since 1991 our success in becoming a global learning provider has largely been the result of our continuous drive to deliver the very best quality service provision. We have always prided ourselves on our trainers’ professional development. "Being a TAP Partner will now add external accreditation and cross-sector recognition to our internal processes and it was of course uniquely recognised by a Queen’s Award for Innovation. We particularly appreciate the ongoing quality assurance capability provided by our own in-house TAP assessors, which will enable us to ensure that all our clients can be assured of consistent, high-quality service provision." Nick Mitchell, chief executive of The Training Foundation, said: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with Hemsley Fraser, one of the few genuinely international training organisations. It is particularly pleasing because we recognise the extremely high regard in which the Group is held across the world. "We believe that their policy decision to adopt TAP as the standard for all Hemsley Fraser training is in tune with the growing demand from training buyers for guaranteed, consistent, best-practice training standards when outsourcing their learning needs. "More than 1,700 employers in the UK now employ some 13,000 TAP certified trainers and the TAP Partners Programme offers all of them the opportunity to ensure that their people get the best possible training."
