Hays & Brightwave to develop blended training for ONS

Recruitment and HR services provider Hays has partnered with Brightwave to develop a blended training programme for the Office for National Statistics' upcoming Census Test in 2007.

The programme will mix classroom-based learning with e-learning and aims to ensure that the Census teams have the right skills to maximise the returns from the Test.

Brightwave will develop several e-learning modules covering a general introduction to the Census as well as role specific information for team managers and enumerators.

Staff will be able to access an online resource library throughout the Test. To accommodate this, Brightwave says is has licensed its Launch & Track system and its authoring tool, BILD, to the ONS.
