Balance Learning showcases new courses

Balance Learning will preview its latest e-learning course, called 'Effective Time Management', at next month's World of Learning Conference and Exhibition.

Developed in conjunction with Partners in Business, the 90-minute e-learning course aims to help individuals prioritise their time and reduce stress.

The course content includes the principles and practices of time management; how to recognise your own time management style; tools and techniques for planning, prioritising and controlling your workload; and strategies for working with others.

Chris Horseman, managing director of Balance Learning, said: "For many people, poor time management is the biggest stumbling block to their success. This interactive course enlivens the subject and truly engages interest. It will help you to develop good personal and professional habits and to take control of your activities, so that you work smarter and get more value out of your time."

Balance Learning recently launched 'Emailogic Interactive-Effective Email', a new e-learning course developed in partnership with Emailogic that aims to help people manage their email more efficiently.

Course presenter Marc Powell be demonstrating the course in a free seminar in the Product Presentation Theatre on 15 November 2007 (1.15-1.45pm).

Chris Horseman said: "Marc will explain how Emailogic Interactive-Effective Email helps people to send clearer messages, receive fewer unwanted emails, cut their number of stored emails and attachments by an average 40%, manage their email relationships more effectively, experience less stress from email and become aware of the impact their emails have on others and the organisation as a whole."

The World of Learning Conference and Exhibition takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on 14th-15th November 2007.
