CompTIA CDIA+ exam now available in Spanish

The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) has announced that a Spanish-language version of its CompTIA Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+) certification exam is now available world-wide.

"We've had growing demand from organisations around the world for a professional credential that validates skills in document imaging and document management," said Neill Hopkins, vice president, skills development, CompTIA.

A recent CompTIA survey of more than 600 organizations found that internal IT employees are taking on greater responsibility for printers, copiers and related equipment.

The survey found that 88 percent of organisations rely on internal staff to support network printers; 86 percent for stand-alone printers; 55 percent for network copiers; and 48 percent for stand-alone copiers.

Just over one-third of the organisations surveyed said that the number of internal IT employee working on printing and copying technologies has increased over the past five years.
