Parity and InfoBasis sign strategic partnership agreement

Parity Group plc has signed a strategic partnership agreement with InfoBasis Limited, a leading provider of business solutions for skills management, to audit and improve competencies in organisations.

As a result of the agreement, Parity aims to provide corporate clients with a complete inventory of personnel skills allowing true workforce asset strength to be assessed. Demand for this service has been rising in response to increasing regulatory demands for human capital management (HCM) reporting, such as the recommendations of the Accounting for People Taskforce.

"Parity works closely with customers to manage and develop staff throughout their working life," said Barbara Greenway, Managing Director of Parity's Training Division. "Our track record in recruitment, retention, assessment, training and deployment proves we can add value and help organisations assess and improve their human capital at every stage. With the InfoBasis technology underpinning our HCM solution, we are now delivering significant workforce optimisation programmes that make us unique in the market."

The two companies will also co-operate in bidding for consultancy to maximise new business opportunities. A recently signed consultancy contract with The Environment Agency is just one example of the work being carried out by the partnership.

"It is every organisation's responsibility to identify the competencies they need to execute their strategy and to report on the human capital plans in place to meet their goals," says Ashley Wheaton, Managing Director of InfoBasis. "Our software is already in use with clients such as Microsoft and the British Army. Now, with Parity's strength and reputation behind us, InfoBasis can help even more organisations meet their HCM objectives."
