Chartered Institute of Marketing graduation 2007

This year's Chartered Institute of Marketing graduation ceremony is being held at Symphony Hall, ICC, Birmingham on 2 November.

President of the Institute The Rt. Hon the Lord Heseltine will be guest speaker at the event.

Professor Keith Fletcher, director of education at The Chartered Institute of Marketing, said: "For students, it is important that we recognise that they have worked really hard to achieve a professional qualification, and that in doing so they have make a clear statement that they are serious about their profession.

"But getting the postgraduate diploma is also a strong statement of intent to employers, present and future, and is a key differentiating factor in the recruitment process."

The Chartered Institute of Marketing says more than 700 have confirmed attendance at the event.
